Yeah, I love pulling out the inflation calculator when anyone mentions money from older times. The $20-25M from March 1938 is the equivalent to half a billion now. Which admittedly is still a lot of money and the equivalent of of 1.8% of the USA GDP. Back then… was only 0.023% of Germany’s 1938 GDP…
