I also feel like the small guys who outperform their weight tend to rely a lot on throws, trips, and the like, which wasn't his game. I can't think of someone who is small, with short reach, and is an oshi specialist

He's gotta be lighter than Enho now, tough to get past Makushita at that size regardless of skill level, no? I do think he got heavier than would have been optimal.

He was a big prospect when he debuted in 2020, but kept getting derailed by injuries; hopefully that's behind him. Interesting game plan today, he's more of a yotsu guy.

The YO thing can go on for as long as needed (though in practice, the longest stint is 3 basho, most recently in 2023)
