Japanese house market is so different than the west. Why is Japanese houses insulation so bad ? What triggered this never ending reconstruction cycle ? Here is a good article that tries to understand this trend.

Sad news is media companies are usually attached to conglomerates. Selling news is not profitable, advertisement is. Hence the products are the readers, and the market is advertisers. The economic structure of each newspapers is to sell different categories of audiences to different corporations.

The CBCD initiative is shifting the ownership of currencies. Money at its core is based on collective trust. If you loose the trust, you loose the value. While paper cash is inconvenient, it’s still the most trustable way we have to own the value and do transactions anonymously and securely.
