Surprisingly, we found that branching K63 chains into K48 does not transform these into degradation signals. The 𝘀𝘂𝗯𝘀𝘁𝗿𝗮𝘁𝗲-𝗮𝗻𝗰𝗵𝗼𝗿𝗲𝗱 𝗰𝗵𝗮𝗶𝗻 𝗵𝗮𝘀 𝘁𝗵𝗲𝗿𝗲𝗳𝗼𝗿𝗲 𝗽𝗿𝗶𝗼𝗿𝗶𝘁𝘆 𝗼𝘃𝗲𝗿 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗯𝗿𝗮𝗻𝗰𝗵𝗲𝗱 𝗰𝗵𝗮𝗶𝗻.
