Exactly. Senator Whitehouse you can unify around deposing our wildly unsuccessful Senate Minority Leader. THAT will unify the grassroots and, hopefully, most in Congress.

The fight is lost and the damage is done. Once you lose the strategy changes to cut losses, not keep losing, especially when the people losing can't pay for groceries.

I mean, among many other problems with this statement I am also so tired of hearing our most powerful elected officials speak as if they have no ability to influence outcomes.

The perception that the US took the rule of law deadly seriously has been an investment magnet and a source of our country's wealth for many years. That perception is in rapid decline, and Canada is smart to position itself in the breach.

Oh I have no doubt that the flight delays and cancellations that might prevent our precious babies away at college from returning home to our middle, upper middle and rich families for Thanksgiving had a lot more to do with it than low income starvation. I am so sorry.
