Can we talk for a minute about how tone deaf and noxious Zohran Mamdani's statement on October 7th is?

I count no less than 10 Hamas Press Office talking points and antisemitic tropes - which NGL is ... quite impressive for a press release aiming to convey sympathy to Jewish New Yorkers.

For the Modern Baseball ballot, where the Veterans Committee looks at players who played primarily 1980 to 2005, the next most deserving Hall of Famers are Keith Hernandez and Lou Whitaker.

Non-coincidentally, Hernandez and Whitaker are the best first and second basemen not in the Hall.

Yunseo Chung was one of 9 students arrested at Barnard College on March 5, 2025, an incident where she violently stormed the Milbank Center, destroyed property, and refused to evacuate the building during the bomb threat.

Chung committed criminal activity that endangered public safety.
March 26, 2025 at 2:59 AM
I'll concede you, to argue that Yunseo Chung's deportation is merited under Section 4(B) Terrorism or 4(C) Foreign Policy is maybe it's a stretch.

But that's not necessary, because State can invoke Section 4(A)(ii).

State can revoke a green card for criminal activity that endangers public safety.

The Pallywankers in Jackson Heights, Queens - the ones who vandalized the Jewish Community Center on 37th Street - have already started making "Free Mahmoud Khalil" stickers to put up next to the synagogue.

Khalil has become an icon and inspiration for antisemites across the country.
March 19, 2025 at 5:34 PM
Has anyone else observed how, in the week since Mahmoud Khalil was arrested, all of the Free Palestine accounts have completely memory-holed the burglary, violence and destruction at Hamilton Hall?

This is ... very obviously intentional!

Because a threatened Justice Democrats primary challenge to House Minority Leader Hakeem Jeffries has been threatened, again, I would like to once again explain for all of the out-of-towners in the peanut gallery some cold facts about New York geography - and why this primary threat is laughable.

6. Jewish Voices for Peace

Hardly Jewish.

Doesn't even know how to wear a tallis.

Maybe at most their step-dad gave them presents for Christmas AND Hannukah.

The annoying kid in class who talks over everyone else

Not gonna actually hurt you. Just profoundly embarrassing to actual Jews.

5. The Neturei Karta

You will find them usually at the front row of an antisemitic hate rally put on by WOL or PAL-AWDA.

The Hasidic equivalent of the Westboro Baptist Church.

Not gonna actually hurt you. Just a sad sight to see.

Truly embarrassing.

4. PAL-AWDA

Antisemitic as fuck.

Literally a terrorist organization.

Usually can be found in an Orthodox Jewish neighborhood protesting at a synagogue, where you will find them beating up old Jewish men.

They will try to hurt you.

Should be detained in Guantanamo Bay.

3. Within Our Lifetime ("WOL")

Antisemitic as fuck.

The prime instigators of many of the worst 🇵🇸 riots in NYC.

Explicitly pro-Hamas, pro-terrorism, pro-October 7th.

Usually protesting at a Starbucks or a McDonalds.

Literally a terrorist organization.

2. The BDS Movement

I will give credit where credit's due, their policy platform is in fact nonviolent albeit profoundly stupid.

The problem is that BDS gives very violent, nihilist actors plausible deniability that what they want is an attainable policy.

1. Students for Justice in Palestine ("SJP")

Loud, obnoxious, antisemitic as fuck - but unlikely to actually hurt you.

They're mostly just 19 and 20 year olds.
February 20, 2025 at 3:06 AM
This might be the stupidest thing I've ever tried to take seriously, but I've run the numbers and I think I'm actually in favor of American annexation of Canada and Greenland.

Hear me out.
January 7, 2025 at 11:32 PM
One thing that's really funny about BDS activists is when they claim that "boycotts caused Starbucks to lose $12 billion" in market cap.

But the reality is that for one of the largest corporations in the world, at $102 billion market cap, these are just cyclical fluctuations in a bearish market.

I have no objection to Manhattan DA charging Mangione with terrorism charges - on top of murder 1 and murder 2.

Mangione spelled out his intent in a sprawling manifesto!

He very explicitly wrote that by he aimed to intimidate insurance companies and policymakers to change policies!

Gandalf, Bilbo, Merry and Pippin ought to be recognized as the stoner icons they are.

I'm really happy that Dave Parker is being inducted into the Baseball Hall of Fame.

"The Cobra" hustled his ass off in right field at Three Rivers Stadium and was a fearsome slugger.

Also Parker was renowned for his famously good spirits.

If I wanted people to take my movement seriously, I simply would not pose for pictures getting arrested in front if an enormous clown full of hot air.
November 29, 2024 at 2:08 AM
There's a strong case for any one of these candidates to be enshrined in the Baseball Hall of Fame.

I'm hoping for a repeat of 2021 when the Veterans Committee implicitly agreed to honor as many as possible and inducted six all in one year.
