Even if you do it better, there's no guarantee to have success. You can say a million positive things about Telegram or Bluesky, but if the software has one single thing that people likes, then It's done. Plus there wasn't anything remarkable on Amazon Gaming, on the other hand GoG has preservation
I legitimately didn't know they were competing with Steam and it's crazy to me that they burnt so much money on what sounds like something with very little (or wildly misguided) market research.

In 2022, Microsoft forcefully responded to a shareholder proposal that was skeptical of its diversity & inclusion programs:

"we believe this request is motivated by an animosity to diversity and inclusion commitments "

Three years later, MS is avoiding even using the word "diversity"

It's surreal to see Halo on Playstation. But it does makes sense. And no, Xbox is not dead, is selling more games in PS5 than Sony itself, and even Playstation is shipping games to PC.

Well, this is it. I'm glad though :cries: that everyone will play Halo for the first time :sobs:

Agreed. Is more a problem with human stupidity rather than AI. Generative AI is shit mind you, but terrible management and economics are leaving thousands of people without a job.

There's an exhibition of comics, web toons and manga in Busan. I'm not an expert of this art, but I occassionally jump into interesting stories. I don't like to take pictures in a museum either, but how would you end up knowing about these works in the first place. Anywaus, look them up!

In my personal way to celebrate Halloween, I'm replaying og Alan Wake, for the first time on PC via GoG. And oh boy, this game always looks stunning, even for today.

Thanks for the whole review. And nah, I have no plans on buying a $1000 prototype. It's super frustrating to not see Microsoft actually wanting to shift what's already great on the Series S/X hardware and OS and port it as a portable console. I also guess they're super proud with their AI pivotry...
My Xbox Ally and Xbox Ally X review.

The top phrases running through my mind while testing it:

"Someone's getting fired for greenlighting this launch"

"This is not an Xbox"

"If this is the future of Xbox, Xbox is screwed."

Went with the middle.
