Definitely my mother's daughter, so expect me to speak out and act,
and to NEVER give up.

Sapiosexual - If you don't know what that is, look it up.
If you can't, don't bother. ; )
Another great rally in Pittsfield, Massachusetts today despite threatening weather!! Lots of support from passing traffic, particularly truckers! Many veterans participating🇺🇸

To the small tiny handful of Trump supporters who expressed their dismay, as I assured you, we were there for you, too. 🙂

A come-to-Jesus moment for American lawyers, and for America's most important law firms.

This is it.

This is the moment you always imagined, where you told yourself you would do the right thing -- where you told yourself that your profession would stand up.

Law firms refuse to represent Trump opponents in the wake of his attacks
The result is an extraordinary threat to constitutional rights of due process and representation and a far weaker effort to challenge Trump’s actions in court than during his first term.

It seems inconceivable that not one single person on that text thread was like, hey guys this might not be such a good idea but then you see who was on it and it makes total sense.

is there any reason at all that the Democratic party should not immediately demand Hegseth's resignation?

Republicans are considering legislation to limit the scope of federal injunctions, potentially curbing the judiciary’s power. These injunctions are typically issued when judges believe a law or executive action may be unconstitutional.

The Trump administration halted funding for a national database that tracked domestic terrorism, hate crimes, and school shootings, as part of broad cuts to violence prevention programs. The move eliminated a critical resource designed to enhance public safety amid persistent and pressing threats.

Very fun to explain the signal scandal to my 13 year old who truly understands the catastrophe of adding the wrong person to the group chat and absolutely fell out when I showed her the Mike Waltz emojis.

The bigger question we should be asking is: Why are Trump officials using Signal for their communications instead of formal, traceable channels?

The answer seems clear — to avoid transparency.

You have probably heard that senior Trump officials included a journalist in a Signal group chat discussing war plans.

Several of the administration’s officials included in the group message have gone to great lengths to hide their embarrassment and claim the whole thing was, actually, no big deal.

Jeffrey Goldberg and Pete Hegseth. One takes DOD protocols seriously:

Goldberg:

—Did not disclose sensitive information; and
—Left the chat when clear he was on chain (errantly) w/classified plans

We’ve asked Pee Wee amateurs to play in big leagues. Expect (a lot) more unforced errors.

I'm not saying anything novel here but it really is just truly despicable to watch them use THEIR OWN COLOSSAL SCREW UP to slander the reporter THEY INCLUDED ON THEIR CLASSIFIED GROUP CHAT
Mike Waltz smears Goldberg as “the bottom scum of journalists.”

People have no problem understanding how "feeder systems" work for sports to grow potential, but cannot grasp how the same thing by another name (DEI) works.

Quit whining that mediocre white boys are being replaced. They HAVE their privilege. It's up to them to fully utilize it.

We are seeing that there are no rails with the current administration. Nothing is out of bounds. Reality has taken an extremely sharp unexpected turn over the past month
Maybe it's not such a crazy thought after all. Please prove me wrong for even considering it a possibility

What if they can't speak out? What if they are not, at this point, under this regime, free? What if they've been silenced in some way?
I tried to disregard this as paranoid and overthinking - I value logical reasoning and coherent thought - but I can't shake it. Has anyone seen them or heard them?

Where are Democratic leaders while all this is going on? Why aren't they calling to action? Standing to let today's leaders lead? Behind the scenes? Disheartened we haven't stepped up? Hesitant to become what they've always admonished - tyrants who take over after a vote they disagree with?
