my parents are incredible because kids come to our neighborhood to trick or treat from all over brooklyn so they gave out tons of candy AND a pocket copy of the US Constitution to everyone

A miniature basket of candy holds chocolate and gummy worms and the US Constitution. This is just what they have left. Everything else was taken including the rest of the Constitutions.

The Department of Defense just told all their overseas teachers that there are no more cultural awareness events, to remove pronouns from emails, stop referring to gender on forms, and of course stop all talk of “gender ideology” or “discriminatory equity ideology.” #education #teachers

Luckily, the commission did come down of the side of scholars from outside the communities shutting TF up and listening for once. And then this line had me HOWLING because it’s exactly what Penn Museum did before burying the 19 Black Philadelphians.
