what scares me the most is that the internet is super Corporate now. social media and mobile has pretty much ruined the "wild west" vibe of the internet. even as someone who experienced it i was like a toddler so i cant say much lol
AI will probably be the death of imagination. Like little kids won't be imagining what they want to see now, instead they'll make a video of it with AI...

watching xanadu (1980) and there’s a scene where the main character is talking to his boss and the boss says “before you know you’ve got a lot of people running around, doing what they wanna do. and that’s not a company, that’s chaos!” and honestly no better portrayal of a company man
