Ok here’s a thread of feeds that aren’t topic themed but utilitarian and do things like show you different versions of your timeline or provide services that should be official Bluesky features. 🧵
Would y’all want a thread of helpful feeds that are basically utilitarian and make the experience of Bluesky better by, for example, showing you different versions of your timeline and things like that?

Great to hear more on the media freedom coalition at the German rep in Brussels today - and especially from a gender perspective - digital harassment especially. Flemish journalist association confirms the data, its unequivocal gender alone is seen as a cause for online violence..

I created a starter pack focused on EU cultural/media policy. The idea is to include policymakers, academics and other stakeholders active in the field. Let me know if I’ve missed you/someone else

Updated list of top accounts on EU politics. Some excellent new folks have joined BlueSky like @nathalietocci.bsky.social
I've put together a starter pack for smart voices on EU politics

I learned a lot from these accounts on Twitter

There are gaps - either because I've missed people or because they're not yet on BlueSky, so pls send suggestions and I'll amend periodically

Ahead of the election of the VdL 2.0 Commission tomorrow in the European Parliament, I keep thinking back to what European Ombudsman Emily O‘Reilly said in June on the narrative that the centre held in the EU elections: “Did the centre hold, or did what we choose to *call* the centre hold?”
