Today was a rough day. We witnessed our momma screech owl murdered by a juvenile raccoon. We tried to intervene but were too late - all eggs destroyed and mama dead protecting them. She was with us for 4 years. 🦉 💔 🌎 circle of life can be hard sometimes.
