This used to be my regular 'congrats on the veggies' treat 😂 sooooo worth it

Things become the new normal so easily. My nausea & other symptoms over the last ~4-6 months means I take a couple of hours to eat breakfast (after an hour of psyching myself up for it).

I forget people can just eat within ten minutes and move on with their day, as though they can just... eat.

Also, how frequently are y'all choking on things? Everyone panics and looks at me like I'm the weirdo for randomly choking on spit/water/food 😤

I swear I'm smarter than 'oh yeah I just wiggle the kneecap and it feels better' and to not connect that with 'the kneecap was probably out of place' 🫣

Like, it's sore, and it makes a sound, but I just assumed a subluxation had to be more painful/noisy/obvious than that 😂😭 I've been saying 'oh I have hEDS but I don't sublux/dislocate other than my jaw' because popping and pain must just be... something snapping?
