Nothing like a little animal facility trip for injections with @claudiadepaulis.bsky.social and team to break from grant reviews 😍! I don’t do much experiments anymore, but it’s nice to feel useful sometimes 😂😂

My blue sky mindset as very busy times are keeping me from seeing it much (both the sky and kid!). Hard trade off of being a scientist,-something life is really just about research, and that’s ok, as long as it’s not too long :)

Today was bitter sweet, as the wonderful Daan Kloosterman gave his last lab meeting. Daan is one of the best thing that happened to the junior PI I was in 2019, leading seminal work in our team. I will miss him oh so dearly, and I am so very proud of all he achieved 🥹🙏. Farewell Daan!!!
