Ann Telnaes, an editorial cartoonist with The Washington Post since 2008, announced this evening she's quitting the paper after this cartoon was killed. It depicts media and tech billionaires, including WaPo owner Jeff Bezos.

In what world does WAPO think that banning a cartoon will give it less publicity? If they had run with it, only readers would have seen it. Now, we all have seen it. They have set aside their oath to journalism to fawn to a four-year fool. Who will be left to hold the fort? WAPO is dying of shame.

Each new President-elect just south of us in Canada, brings hope or horror. The good thing of the USA electoral system is that it is only four years, then they get a chance to change their mind.
