Hi everyone, I wanted to give you an update on how the negotiations are going. The fact is that we’re really finding a lot of synergies as we run our polices up the various flagpoles with a view to where those low hanging fruit are circling back. Leadership is foremost in our discussions, as we want to avoid a hat on a hat on a hat situation, but ultimately we’re focused on the strategonomics. They’re playing hardbargainball, I’ve had to remind them a few times that I was the CEO for Air NZ and that I know a few things about flying in turbulent conditions. I’ve only had to give up three or four or potentially fiveish or more of our favourite policies, and Winston Peters is now the legal guardian of Simeon Brown. So we’re coming out with our ducks on top! Hopefully that answers everyone’s questions so far, and will explain why I left the last meeting without a watch or pants. It’s about looking them square in the eye and saying firmly, “No sir, I can’t eat any more dog food. I’m full"
