I got into a cab in Vegas once during EVO with @connormakar.bsky.social and the driver asked us what we do for a living and we said we wrote about video games (I almost never answer this question honestly, but it was a good night and he seemed harmless) and he said he loved video games. 1/X
I don't mean to sound too kneejerk here, but I still don't know why I should be unquestionably hyped for this game just because of the name. The last one was made in a completely different era of open world design. This one has suffered repeated delays. At some point, I need convincing!

That cutscene in the prologue for Trials from Zero where the new bracers showed up gave me nostalgia for 1 day ago when I finished Sky 3rd, this series has its hooks in me.

Yeah, that thing people said about the ending of Trails in the Sky FC being the mother of all cliffhangers was absolutely correct

Worst thing about the Trails in the Sky remake looking as good as it does is that I'm about to finish the original and it doesn't make a ton of sense to get that when I've got 10 games I still need to get through :(
