Question: hi! i love your ipomoea art, and i was wondering if there was a reason you drew her with fiery horns in that one piece 👀 did something cool happen in your dnd game (or if it’s just amazing thematic art what does it mean) ☺️ Answer: omg thank you for the question!!! it is related to something that happened in our dnd game!!! we got into a fight with one of the big bads alongside another NPC (Nova, who turned out to be the one supposed to replace Ipomoea's god as Ipomoea also just found out this god they've been looking for died 500 years prior), and the whole gang got dragged into the astral sea where we got very close to dying. there was this very intense moment where Nova was still resisting ascending as an aspect/god, but eventually Ipomoea manages to convince her (also because we were all going to die otherwise). With Nova fully ascending, Ipomoea also became a full, proper avatar of her aspect. The aspect's domain is stars and fire, so their horns and limbs were enveloped in flames. Previously Ipomoea's horns only had a few gems in them, but with the transformation they turned into full crystal! I hope this makes sense since I realise there's a lot of context so hopefully I did a good enough job wkjeghewj but thank you omg I'm so glad you like that artwork 🩷

hey here's something I would love us all to do like RIGHT NOW: find out if your local library is doing any kind of pride programming or display, and if they are, email them to say thank you and why it matters to you. whether or not you're queer. especially if you're in an area where it's fraught
