hi, it's been a while since my last blog post. this has mostly been because there hasn't been much to say that couldn't be said in a social media post, but now i feel like i have enough things to speak on that warrants a new one.
first off, SILLY WORLD. i'm not sure if i'll be able to get it out by the end of the year [probably not-i have been kept quite busy with college among other things], but i will say that we are in the final stretches now. coloring is underway and the bonus comic for the DX edition is done. once the comic is completely done, all that will be left to do is making a new wallpaper or two and then it will be ready to ship-i'm planning on making a trailer for it as well, but that can come after the comic is released if need be.
next is some 'social media presentation' things. i've taken on the new nickname of 'orion' recently, but the name 'quetzal' is still in use. i view it as more of a personal/business name kind of thing. i also changed my tag on bluesky to match my resurrected twitter (LEGENDARYD0GS). trying to make my internet presence easier to follow, essentially, though the site link i put in just about all of my artwork should be helping with that plenty.
let's talk about carpal tunnel and wrist care now. earlier in life [middle school, high school], i had some minor bouts of wrist pain and soreness-extremely mild carpal tunnel, essentially. recently it has resurfaced but worse than before [still not severe, thankfully], likely due to all of my college classes being art-based, requiring even more drawing than i already do. to combat this i have begun doing wrist exercises [i really like this video by Scribble Kibble] and have purchased a logitech ERGO M575s mouse to help ease wrist strain..."
