This is how I always feel about silly edge cases. Doing the stupid thing is never the only way to defuse a bomb. It's the proper response to everything from "what if you had to torture someone" to "what if you had to say [slur]".

It’s difficult to follow what point you’re making when you move the goal posts. Are you saying you think they’ll ignore the statute, or that they’ve made sure there’s nothing left to find? I might agree with the first one but nothing we can do about it, but I just don’t think the second one is true.

Also, DOJ policy around not releasing files during an investigation doesn’t beat a statute. Rock beats scissors.

I use them all, because I use browser segregation. I won't log into anything Google on my main browser, for example. My primary is Firefox, then Chrome for all Google crap, and Edge if I need a 3rd one.
