As a (former) Nebraska resident and a trans person, my heart aches for the trans youth in Nebraska who are constantly let down and bullied by their state government. These kids deserve better. They don’t deserve to have their lives constantly fucked with because of who they are.

I wish I could say to my trans siblings that things are going ok, but I can't... not in good faith. We're living through hostile times right now, with crosshairs directly on us. What I know, though, is that we are stronger as a community, and that no amount of hatred will ever dictate who we are.
