Trying to get a grip on what is going on since January 20, 2025, I believe that Donald Trump is a puppet of the Heritage Foundation. They discovered him to be successfully manipulated to enact their regressive and authoritarian agenda and let him play with his ballroom and marble bathroom.

Maybe the shutdown will end soon, but much remains unanswered. What will linger is the cruelty of the Trump administration toward the poor and hungry and federal workers who have borne the brunt of the shutdown.
