I did have drawings of them once upon a time, but I doubt any survive. Perhaps I will make art of them one of my drawing goals for the new year. Having been reminded of this old fantasy creation of mine I feel quite fond of it. I think lil Lee was onto something; this concept is worth expanding...

They can fly, tho not for great distances, allowing them good mobility in a forest environment - enough to get up into trees after prey or away from predators, over small bodies of water, etc.

I imagine them being a bit bigger than foxes, and filling a similar niche - but active during the day, what with being sort of reptilian and all. Foxes and dragons coexist fairly well for this reason (tho can drift into competition when food is scarce).

Fae. Definitely fae. I have low blood pressure symptoms at the best of times, I wouldn’t last held captive by vampires. 😆
