Cracker Barrel's new logo is 'woke'. Huh?! Can someone explain to me how the new logo design is 'woke'. Ugly as sin, I'll agree everyday including Sundays. But 'woke'?

Do I get left off of the mailing list for the 'woke' definition update quarterly?

Excited to embark on a new journey towards becoming a Web Accessibility Specialist (WAS). The first step has been taken, and I eagerly anticipate the next phase ahead.

Dear Leaders of the Free World,

Fight him at every turn.
Make his life miserable.
Expose his ignorance and sociopathy.
Oppose and condemn and marginalize him.
The decent people of this nation are not with him.

We stand with you.

Who else is looking forward to the |> (pipe) operator in JavaScript? No more will you need to break your method chaining to debug with a console. No more temporary variables.

It's still in proposal phase, but you can check one version out here:

This is an interesting thought experiment. What makes an artisan website to you?

To me, an artisan website covers three primary concerns. Is it technically correct? How much more refactoring is needed? Is it visually correct or are there misalignments. Lastly, is it fully accessible?
I've been thinking about the hallmarks of an artisan website.

Is it a design that's difficult to replicate, like lynnandtonic.com or bruno-simon.com?

Is it hand-writing every HTML page, without SSR or SSG?

Is it a lack of bloat - minimal JS, images, and special effects?

Just tried using Node 23.6.0 with built in TypeScript support. I did a little dance. Stunning. Amazing. This is what the people want.

Headings serve as landmarks for users and help them understand how different pieces of information relate to each other. For example, a section with a level 3 headings probably provides information in support of information provided in the previous level 2 heading, and so on.

I wonder how Rep Senator Tim Young is feeling right now. The Revenge Tariffs from Columbia are really bad for our farmers (and also bad for Colombia. 96.7 % of their corn for livestock comes from the USA )

Again I think this ends fast. But it’s interesting

“Well, Trump won and now he’s gonna destroy Gaza.”

“Yep. We’re paying the price for the Democrats’ incompetence.”

“‘We?’ The Gazans are paying the price, not us”

Pause.
