I have repeatedly that Trump's an aspiring fascist. My argument is with the romantics and defeatists who say "and he's won and we're already there."
But fascism is an ideology, not a governmental form. I call Trump a fascist because his beliefs are fascistic: that the US has a legacy of fallen glory, that various minorities are responsible for a fall from that state, and that powers should be be centered in him so he can restore /1
