On the upside - I’ve just had a call from the gym - the two women have been banned from the whole chain (Village Gyms). Everyone (including cis women in the changing rooms) was disgusted with the way the two screamed at me. We do have allies!

Talking about impacts - I had an awful incident yesterday at the gym … first time in my transition. They used all the current horrid stuff and quieted JKR, FWS etc. Are you still collecting stories?

I just think glp need to work strategically as the EHRC did to win their side. By taking away GRC rights, clearly, all the others went with them and they way back needs to follow suit?

I read the document as quite positive - a sense of throwing the EHRC under a bus in places - but that may just be wishful reading!

Isn’t their focus on GRC holders because that was meant to the the focus of the SC ruling. Regaining rights for GRCs would return tights for all trans people? I don’t know but that’s my take on it.

There is little doubt for me that the SC ruling was leaked to the EHRC (& probably others) before it was released. The EHRC could not admit this so their pre-written guidance appeared to be ‘rushed’ out whereas they knew exactly what they were trying to achieve!
