Speak up … let the mayor & council know that community councils only speak for some of the people, and that in public meetings like this many get swayed by louder voices and by presentations that that don't give all the relevant facts

And note that's just in the City of Vancouver.
Far more housing is being built in adjacent communities like Burnaby, New Westiminster, and especially Surrey which is poised to within a year or 2 to have a larger popilation than Vancouver

It takes awhile for things to congeal.
Twitter had become a fairly universal town square. Now there are a plethora of small neighborhood squares. Hopefully they will gradually congeal into one. But will they?
