1/3 A second paper from my dissertation research! We compared CDC-measured Core Elements (CE) adherence to a new scoring approach, then looked at relationships between scores & antimicrobial stewardship program (ASP)-related outcomes of antibiotic use & pathogen incidence.

My co-EIC Florian Krammer wrote this commentary in Vaccine on the need for next generation flu vaccines to have a NA component (the N in H5N1 or H3N2).

It’s a smart idea & safeguards against bad matches to HA & other subtypes that share N1 or N2.
