Just locked horns with Lib Dem Councillors Stuart Gourley and Jeff Brooks, came out a bit bruised but think I gave as good as I got. Much as we disagree free exchange of thought and debate is the lifeblood of politics.

And I look forward to future clashes in future.

Although I must admit I find some of his policies appealing, Zach Polanski’s readiness to embrace the title of the “left wing farage” causes some real concern for me as the last thing we need right now is another populist cult leader but now on the left.

Preaching to the choir but, Reform very much are a vile party as someone who grew up in a working class household I’ve seen this song and dance 100 times the BNP, UKIP now Reform different names for the same group who don’t want to help working people but divide us for their own financial gain.

I think we’ve seen for the past few years a real abdication of responsibility by West Berkshire Council certainly from the Liberal Democrat’s and more the Conservatives who rather than advocating for rural interests use us as a podium to fight the Liberal Democrat’s in urban swing wards.

Yesterday I was unfortunately not elected as a councillor for Thatcham North East, I got 65 votes but the journey does not end here I shall continue to fight on to attempt to protect people from the cruel cuts of this Liberal Democrat Administration.🌹

I fully support Cardinal Luis Antonio Tagle, to be the next Pope he’s the kind of reformer we need at the head of the Catholic Church. Not another regressive like Benedict XVl who will simply take us back in progress.

Farage is not on the side of the little person he’s on the side of vested interest end of, he certainly doesn’t care about us rural brits.

Donald Trump standing next to a rabbit whilst paying tribute to the late holy father Pope Francis, is an insult to Catholics everywhere. The lack of respect from the President, towards our head of the Church is quite frankly disgusting.

Hugely happy to hear the formation of the new government of #Germany of @cducsueuropa.bsky.social and @spdde.bsky.social has kept the far-right AfD out of power best of luck to the incoming government hopefully it works towards net zero and helping Ukraine defend against Russian aggression.

With the recent UK Supreme Court ruling I remember Genesis 1:26-28

“So God created man in his own image, in the image of God he created him; male and female he created them.”

All those Christians who helped pressure and cause this result have in doing so, sinned against their fellow human.

I find it very Bizarre how the Reform Candidate in the Thatcham North East By-election, can bash net zero schemes like the solar farm plan when his party’s own deputy leader benefits from a similar plan.

I do hope he tells Tice to stop using the plan as it is after all a “waste of money”.

Incredibly thankful for Newbury today for publishing this article about myself and Mike Brook, despite my attempts to discover the other parties candidates I have so far failed. It's almost like they've dissappeared!😲

Incredibly chuffed that I have been chosen as Labour's candidate in the Thatcham North East by-election if elected the key issues I will work on

1. Proper funding for kids who need EHC plans.

2. Fighint the mismanaged Lib Dem housing plan.

3. Stopping the closure of day care centres.
