Good luck at IGNM!
Your game looks really good and easy to grok the different ingredient types due to good art direction/design.

That’s a great line-up!
Good luck tomorrow.

Hopefully it gets signed because it sounds perfect for my wife and I, but regardless good luck at IGNM.

Have you previously written about plans for after the IGNM? I didn’t see specifics on Heavenly Bodies’ BGG page.

Seeing your posts remind me of other indie games produced/assembled at home from @dnlnwmn.bsky.social & @travisdhill.bsky.social. Kudos, y’all.

Components look nice, especially that box design (although I’d probably put the tray in with the pull tab on the inside).

These products usually remind me of the original MSFT Surface concept from ~2007.

I try to closely follow campaigns I back, but in these instances I get paranoid I missed something, recheck I completed everything, and then do it again the next time I’m emailed. I’m 99%+ sure I got that same email today and I rechecked I paid. These tariffs are purposefully harming small biz.

I look forward to Sunday podcast releases.

Thanks again for your work on this. I appreciated the orange font on the webpage for the all-time lows. I also know to not pass on a good price on Knarr when I see it; I thought the 1st day pricing on it might last longer.

My most played games having a weight above 3.0 are Gloomhaven & JoTL (~25 combined plays) with the highest count of plays in the 2+ weight being Wingspan (30+ plays).

Two questions came to mind
1. Would you define “strategy games” by weight/mechanisms/decision space/agency/etc?
2. Would you propose that count of plays for each game may depend on a player’s experience with similar games or that [hopefully] each game brings unique depth & discoverable strategies?

Was cool to hear you and Adam discuss Age of Comics since I still have yet to play my copy (which is too typical for games I back on KS & partly why I backed out of The Game Makers).
October 1, 2025 at 2:15 PM
I was backing at the FOMO level but backed out because of cost, especially since the game’s core attraction is the games on the cards and A LOT of great games are locked in the $200 tier. That $200 tier also forces everyone to get components for 5-6 players and is opposite of sustainability.

Blame it on Nazgûl?

Sweet base boards though!

The special edition KS bundle was too good of value to pass up when I only had Marrakesh retail edition. Now I just need to offload that extra copy.

An example of excellent inserts paired with illustrations showing where to store everything is Queen Games’ Stefan Feld City Collection - Classic: Special Edition.

Yep, I subscribe and I started using those tips. Last week I immediately recycled the Monumental Duel Explorers insert since it was wasting space.

It is frustrating when publishers fail to provide specific storage info. Still, at least that one is a much better insert than Nucleum’s which is worse than not having one.
