(And I appreciate the accurate statistics about how many people who get SNAP are employed, are kids or have kids, are seniors, and/or have disabilities. But even for those who aren’t, that’s fine with me! If you can’t afford to eat, that’s a societal failure, and a societal response is appropriate.)
