A close-up of some of the detail of the diorama walls. The pink baseboards and moulding are up, and I made a thin blue column to put in the corner to hide the gap. The baseboards and blue column are made from cardboard pieces covered in heavy cardstock that I scored and folded.

My diorama thing is taking shape.

When I was a kid, I loved Barbie dolls. I LIVED for any new clothing and accessories for my Barbies. One of my faves was the 80s Astronaut Barbie. Anyway, in my quest to heal from cptsd, I bought myself a Barbie - first new Barbie I've had since 1991! She makes custom shirts, just like me.

Washed and fluffed my purple Popple. Looking so good!
My vintage 1980s 8" Popple plush toy, seated on a desk. It has light purple fur, hot pink hair, and baby pink and aqua ears/foot pads. It is very clean and fluffy looking, almost like brand new! This toy was a gift from my parents when I was a little one.

Two new things I got today. See alt text for details.
First, I received my copy of the new Black Moth Super Rainbow album on CD. It's called Soft New Magic Dream. Doesn't that sound just lovely? Highly recommend it if you like music at all. Secondly, I picked up this wood multi-position tabletop easel so I can do easel things. Like display this CD in this photo. The easel has a solid board back and is wider than it is tall. I'll probably paint some stuff on this, god willing.

Popped into Facebook to see what my relatives are up to, and I'm greeted with this.
An unbelievable clickbaity image designed specifically to grab the viewer's attention via shock and horror - or, in other words, you are supposed to believe that this is a video caught in the moment immediately before a supposed disaster occurred. In this case, it's a bunch of water starting to overtop a towering dam that was somehow built immediately on the other side of a populated residential area - yeah fucking right. Everything about this image screams bullshit. I refuse to click it because thats what they want me to do. I hate the internet. It wants me to watch people drown.

Trying out some Das air dry clay today for two 4" square tiles. The first clay I tried out is impossibly lightweight. I kept dropping those tiny little rainbow test tiles when I was painting them because they are somehow lighter than air. Hoping for something easier to handle with the heavier clay.

Pulled the first test prints from my luchador block today! First, I tried it on some lovely homemade paper, but it was too fibery and textured for my tacky ink. Thinking it would work better if I get some ink reducer, just need to buy some. For now, it will just have to go on regular cardstock.

A recipe for "Spam and Cheese Ribbon Loaf", with a disgusting illustration to match. There are thin layers of spam interspersed with layers of cream cheese, then reformed into a loaf shape. It's very stripey.

Some random merch things I made for work.
An esoteric 1 color tshirt design for Matisyahu. The ink is off white while the background is black. The foreground has a disembodied arm reaching up to a glowing star, and the background has a checkered floor in perspective with a large staircase in the background, leading up to a child at the top, silhouetted by a glowing portal in the sky full of stars and galaxies. A skateboard deck design for cKy. Red, yellow, and aqua blue angled stripes are arranged horizontally on the black board. It has the corporate cYk logo in white ink the center, and also says "infiltrate, destroy, rebuild" in white in a matching font. A logo created for Eric Andre's birthday party. Parody of the Heaven's Gate website landing page. A framed rainbow foil copy of my 2024 Outlandia Festival poster, featuring a light red VW bus, as seen from the front. The VW logo has been swapped out got the Outlandia sun logo. The background has some interesting stripe and a diamond pattern in red, yellow, green, and blue, with small stars inside of the blue stripes.

A 5-color screen printed poster I made for an Omaha festival. It looked so pretty on the wall this morning, i just had to post it. We did these on French Madero Beach paper, but also made a few foils, like this one. Upon reflection, maybe they all should have been foils. 🤔🌈🌟

This poster was for the Outlandia festival in 2024, which took place in Omaha, NE. Printed at Ink Tank Merch in Omaha. Designed by me!

A custom skate deck I designed for CKY. It features thick red, cyan, and yellow diagonal stripes going every which way on top of a black background. There is a large angled CKY logo in the center in white, and three of the stripes contain the words "infiltrate", " destroy", & " rebuild". Only 50 were made! This is my personal copy. It will be going up on the wall here at the print shop!
