I mean, I don't wish to present myself as a vision of saintly temperance. I was posting shitty subtweets 'til the day I left the former Twitter, and while I made the decision not to do that sort of thing here, I still have my occasional sharp elbow here and elsewhere. We are all a work in progress.
Also speaking only for myself, this is a struggle. I'm less prone to bring an asshole in the attempt to be clever than I once was, but I still fail at times.

Speaking for only for myself, I suspect that I had to valorize being clever for a while before it could sink in that being kind is a better way to go. I still occasionally forget, but I forget less and less as I go along.
