My red hometown in deep red South Carolina had at least 2000 joyful, peaceful protestors today. I am so fucking proud of every one of them. Fight the good fight, friends!

My little foster girl had to go to the vet last night. She has "fuzzy foreign material" in her stomach. Probably a big hairball. Hoping it will pass naturally with a little help and she can come home tomorrow.

I got a foster cat today. She seems happy to be out of the shelter. I love hosting her already, but can't wait to see her adopted and in her forever home.

Today, I washed one of my cat's blankets and put away the step stool he used to get into the tub towards the end. I boxed up about half of his toys that are still where he last left them. It has been 3 months today since he has been gone. This was a huge step. I am never going to be ok.
