I read a small but mighty collection of books last month.

Finished another excellent middle grade graphic novel, THE RIBBON SKIRT by Cameron Mukwa.

Finished this excellent graphic novel at school today that a younger reader recommended to me. I might have distracted students with some laughter.

Currently reading this and loving it even though horror isn’t usually my genre.

We noticed early on that students were picking up whatever book I put in a display, so we’ve leaned in on that hard, and it’s working. They’re trying new genres and stories. I ask if they need help finding a book and they already know what they want to try next.

My 2023 year in reading. Revisiting and finishing the Percy Jackson books on audio means I finished more books than I expected.
