Last night was the SECOND time that we realized “hey, the lead actor of this show we’re watching was the space monkey in the back seat during the car crash in Fight Club!”

An *extremely* specific realization (also, as the husband points out, mathematically very unlikely to happen a third time).

Got to the healthcare protest with my shirt and my sign and was immediately out-clevered by a woman whose shirt just says “DOUG FORD HATES YOU”. It’s a good crowd here today.
I’m wearing a “protect trans kids” t-shirt and my sign says “I’m telling y’all it’s SABOTAGE” (and the S is a dollar sign)

Also. Jack is not much of a cuddly guy, but everything hurts and I wanted moral support. So I put a box on the bed and waited, and it worked!

Cat showed up in exhibit #1 whining the saddest starvation whine you’ve ever heard, so I gave him lunch. Exhibit #2 was taken TWO HOURS LATER, same tiny starvation whine. Poor little guy, clearly wasting away 🙄

I didn’t get great photos of these, but here’s a peek at some place cards I did for a wedding last weekend - the couple liked the bouncy, fun modern style which helped liven up the navy colour scheme!

A list that says: “10-11: Meeting 1”. This has been extended to 11:35. “Meeting 2”, scheduled for 11 AM, has been moved to 2:30. In its place I have scheduled 11:35-11:55 “sleep” and 11:55-11:59 “cry”. Meeting 3 starts at noon.

Jack sometimes likes it when I set up a little scarf-tent over the armchair so he can crawl under it and sleep. Aaand sometimes I set it up and come back to this. I don’t know, Jack, I’m as confused as you are.
