Yeah for sure. He's not a villain right now, just kind of a dick. What I hope, if they are going to villain bat him, is that they build it slowly and take a more nuanced approach than they did with Garrosh who went from kind of a hothead to full blown dictator in about 5 seconds.

Oh yeah, he definitely comes down hard on him in the Midnight intro. I very much got the vibe of "career military dad doesn't like that son thinks his own thoughts."

It's not the first. In Legion, he lost it because Illidan destroyed Xera, nevermind that Xera was trying to force a change on Illidan that he did not want.
Also in Shadows Rising, he doesn't stop Alleria from torturing an orc civilian and mother to get information. For him it's win at all costs.

The question of whether or not Blizz has the writing chops to pull off demonstrating how fighting and endless war far from home has made him lose touch with the human elements of war, that's a different story.

I don't think that has to be the only thing. He could, after all that time ceaselessly chasing the Burning Legion, have lost sight of why we fight the battles we fight, which is to protect home and family, and instead replaced it with grandiose notions of vanquishing evil at all costs.

Yeah I ended up checking myself a bit later and discovered that too. It's way too much. And with the new cost to save an outfit to the slot, it will completely price new players out of being able to transmog.

There's a thread on the beta forums about this. It's just getting started if you want to get in there and make your opinion known. us.forums.blizzard.com/en/wow/t/fee...

So far, you get two outfit slots to start. The first additional slot is 100g. After that it goes 500g, 1000g, 5000g, 10000g, 15000g, and that's as far as I've gone. I know it probably still comes out cheaper in the long run, but for an RPer who has 19 outfits saved on retail, that feels STEEP.
