Resign. We need a real leader.

As a constituent… you should resign as minority leader. You’re not up to the job. Make way for someone willing to stand up to Trump.

Also for the love of god faculty wake the fuck up and pressure your institutions to stop the nonsense. Academia has
become the primary site of repression because we allowed it to be. We invited this onto our students, our campuses, our nation.

Now we wait to see if the courts will protect, and compensate this man from this illegal transgression.

Meanwhile his wife & lawyers don’t even know where he is.

Make no mistake the process of deportation, successful or not, is torture.

University presidents should be shouting about how Trump is shutting down the research that benefits *all* Americans, whether Alzheimer's, cancer, heart disease, better road materials, safer cars, more efficient air conditioning, etc etc.
