Unfortunately, there is no simple answer and as always, the method depends on the research question. However, these four methods have now all been included into Lead-DBS/OSS-DBS and can be conveniently analyzed on group level using the FiberFiltering Explorer (www.lead-dbs.org).

First paper to ever use a 12-year-old feature of Lead-DBS which is to visualize graph networks, implemented still during the PhD of @andreashorn.org and pretty obscure in a tool called lead groupconnectome.

The Courtin lab is always pretty neat with illustrations and their grey & red signature figures. What would they do with electrode localizations done with Lead-DBS? See @natureportfolio.bsky.social Nature Medicine paper on hypothalamic DBS for spinal cord injury here:
