Oh no for sure. I guess I’m just querying the need for something that speaks to these teenagers in the first place, when we actually need adults to learn how to listen to them?

We seemed to have glossed right part the emotional neglect to get right back to the usual ‘kids and social media’ moral panic.

Also I’m getting a bit irked about ‘radicalisation’ being the dominant ‘teachable moment/message’ when I think the best bit of the programme is to show how it’s not just one thing that went ‘wrong’ but rather layers of influence.

I also don’t understand what teenagers are supposed to get from it? Like if the teens depicted in it struggle to comprehend the permanency of their actions because they’re teenagers why would an audience of that age process it any differently?

Even taken as given Ireland has real issues with antisemitism that need to be addressed (which I agree with!) you have to wonder at some point if the focus on this one tiny country on Europe's periphery might be motivated by something other than concern for the welfare of its Jewish population
