@vonderleyen.ec.europa.eu & Trump will meet in person this Sunday. Consumer and digital rights groups across the Atalantic from @tacd-consumers.bsky.social will not accept any lowering of consumer protection as part of a deal. We count on the EU & the US to find a mutually beneficial solution.

Excellent point from Director Rohit Chopra, CFPB, calling for fair & competitive markets and avoid a race to the bottom to preserve both EU and US values. Food for thought for us in Europe: we should not confuse more competitiveness with less consumer protection @bruxconf2025.bsky.social
