Operation Italy was great, even more so when you look at the variables that could have derailed it:
1) Sue didn’t protect Caroline with her idol,
2) Rachel didn’t block,
3) The underdogs stuck to the “plan”,
4) Neither Sam or Gen won the idol, ruining any vote split.

Finally got to watch the probabilities scene on #survivor.
Andy did a very simple and reasonable analysis to claim it’s “remote” Kyle would win the next four challenges (6.25%).
The assumptions can be argued, but why it got so much pushback is fascinating and a case study in math communication.

I get that voting out the challenge beast is a way to increase your shot at security for the next round, but challenge beasts are traditionally one-note players who barely contribute strategically… so why wouldn’t you bring one at FTC if you outplay them in all other aspects? #survivor #survivor47

We said the same thing about Threads and Mastodon. Let’s not get ahead of ourselves here please. It sure is promising, but don’t put too much pressure on the developers. Let them do their thing and define the direction in which the app will go.

You know what? #Survivor 2nd chance was one of the best seasons, so if they want to do something similar one more time, I’m here for it.
Jeff Probst tells Entertainment Weekly he wants "joyful players who are in a good mood" on Survivor 50.
"We're not looking for disgruntled players looking to settle a score," he said. "We're looking for players who want a second chance, who have something to prove to themselves."

So far, Bluesky is a return to the golden age of the internet, when people were not at each other’s throats but preferred sharing cat pics and memes.
