Back in the day, my school just failed students and they repeated the grade or didn’t graduate. The school supported the teaches. It worked really well. They didn’t spend much time on building your self-esteem. That came with the diploma that meant something.

I think you can step back a bit further, to a requirement definition. What are you trying to do? Why are you doing it? What constraints, budget, scalability, resources, etc. Then start mapping to data. Then refinement, which most simply is repeating a two steps forward, one step back approach.

So, there are snowball fights in hell after all.
