On this #ConstitutionDay, we honor one of the fundamental rights protected in the Constitution. Freedom of Speech.

We recently filed an amicus brief, along with @lwvus.bsky.social and the League of Latin American Citizens, challenging a presidential Executive Order that would unconstitutionally restrict the number of citizens who could register to vote in federal elections.

Four years ago, we filed a complaint against Asst AG Jeffrey Clark, also signed by many prominent members of the DC Bar. It alleged that Clark sought to pressure Justice Department leaders to issue a knowingly false statement about significant fraud in the 2020 presidential election. 🧵
