M1, the Crab Nebula.
I captured this nebula on two different telescopes, the first image being a composite.
I shot the second image over 50 minutes using ROSA, the remote telescope at @theuniversityofsheffield.
The third image was shot on my telescope at home, over 7 hours and 50 minutes.

This is a nebula in the Cygnus constellation, and is a remnant of a supernova from 10-20,000 years ago.
It lies 2400 light years away, and is 3 degrees in diameter.

It lies approximately 5700 light years from Earth, and currently there are over 8100 stars forming in the nebula.

This is M12, a globular cluster, approximately 16,000 Light Years from Earth.
It has a radius of 37.2 light years, and is a collection of high-mass stars, having had its lower mass stars stripped from it by the Milky Way
