It costs like $40 for a couple to see a movie. Its not like a casual expense where you don’t mind blowing it on a bad movie any more. Also the experience has dropped across the board. I get why a bunch of disconnected execs cant see the issue but we dont have to write about it like its confusing.
As the summer season ends, Hollywood executives are nervous about its disappointing box office numbers. What can the industry do in response? A few thoughts:

Trump is trying to make the argument that he is fighting a foreign invasion. I don’t think you should help him make that argument to millions of people who otherwise don’t know shit about California, no matter how good it makes you feel in the short term about your diverse city.
If people can dismiss in your own words "Trump’s authoritarian tactics" because of a few Mexican flags in LA (a heavily Mexican American city) then you just believe this country is already beyond saving.
