I mean I certainly knew Coeur d’Alene sucked big time. You get a super weird vibe even as a WW stopping in the center of town. Refugees welcome out west. Save yourselves.

This was a good podcast. Helpful to take a longer view. Recommend. Plus there’s swearing.
Worth listening to this interview with @karaswisher.bsky.social and @ezrakleinbot.bsky.social ... Kara really has the smartest and what seems to me to be the most accurate take on Elon Musk that there is, because she has covered these tech bros for years. www.youtube.com/watch?v=2xXL...

Here’s me reading every new disgusting low “EXCUSE ME?!???” 😵
DOGE operative Marko Elez got the ability to alter US Treasury payment system code on Feb 1, WIRED's sources say.

For days, Trump officials fed members of Congress and the press a different story.

Elez is out now for posts reading "I was racist before it was cool" and "normalize Indian hate."
The US Treasury Claimed DOGE Technologist Didn’t Have ‘Write Access’ When He Actually Did
Sources tell WIRED that the ability of DOGE's Marko Elez to alter code controlling trillions in federal spending was rescinded days after US Treasury and White House officials said it didn't exist.

Plz explain to me like I’m 10. Some rando douchebro, not appointed, elected or even employed by us, waltzed in to one of our most important, secure institutions and had 6 kids download all the shit. He’s doing this under the guise of a made up group named after a dog meme…and no one stopped it?

I’m buoyed by knowing I don’t need to contact @jeffmerkley.bsky.social @merkley.senate.gov or @wyden.senate.gov and let them know I’m LIVID about a private bro acting like he owns the country. I know they are LIVID too and hopefully finding a way to stop this thuggery ASAP ✊🏼 1/2

Good lord knows we need help. The game has completely changed and we’re using the dusty 1992 playbook and getting our ass kicked.

Here’s what I’ll never get over - we know how he operates, he did it before. It’s chaos, uncertainty, distraction and too many horrible things to look at at one time. Outrage overload. And yet!!!! You imbeciles said “sure that was great, let’s give it another go!” 🤬🫣

#gardening starting a new bed with small plants it’s hard to take the spacing suggestions seriously but here’s why you usually should. These red flowering currants are a mandatory garden staple IMO. After 3 summers they are now 5’ x 5’!

“Don’t burn yourself out on Day 3” Definitely a balancing act of knowing what’s happening but also not getting an ulcer from being 🤬all the time. @portlandmercury.bsky.social is in the Yea list for sure. Probably The Guardian w/a little BBC plus my local NPR. You?

I love that these trees totally dwarf the little house. At sunset I think about how the top of the tree can still see the sun that’s gone over the hill.

Even if I live in a big deeply blue bubble, a paradise of liberalism, even if I’m totally safe..

Even if I’m a very long way away from the Idiocracy it’s still so disturbing to see your country descend into the Upsidedown.
