One rumor is that if people of color took to the streets to protest in Washington DC right now, the White House would say it’s a race riot and crack down harder than he wanted to during Black Lives Matter demonstrations in his first term.

It’s horrible. I watched the video several times and my disgust and sadness grew into anger over this whole thing.

Didn’t the Kaiser lose his imperial powers at the end of World War I? By the 1930’s the Weimar Republic was weak and world wide depression paved the way for a strong man to take over in Germany.
