I listen to LBC (@lbc.co.uk) a lot and post in annoyance about some (some) of its presenters' attempts to mislead the public.
Glad Reeves went in for this ridiculously dodgy industry. As I said, no-one (except maybe the IEA) will complain about it.

Idea for an amusing Xmas filler show @lbc.co.uk:

I'm not sure he would disagree with Robbie Gibb on much anyway. I'm reminded of this:

I suspect he was brought on board (post-Sharp IIRC, by Dorries?) because he wouldn't pushback.

This is what I mean about some sections of the left. Zoe seems happy that a fascist party are "owning" a government much closer to her personal beliefs.

Whether she likes what they are doing in certain areas or not.

And Labour backbenchers probably think like this too.

Unserious ppl.

The migrant situation feels manufactured to me.

I'm surprised that Putin's role in it isn't being considered/talked about more. (Putin benefits from Farage in Number 10).

This is one article of MANY talking about this issue:

Robbie Gibb used to work for a Russian organisation which specialised in internal revolution (undermining govts). This is from his Wikipedia.

Why are MANY of the people attempting to damage British/US institutions over the last decade or so, heavily linked to Russia?

Curious.

I mean yes I suppose so.

But the media emphasis on that element of it (which is pretty much unverifiable) is a far right trope designed to inflame tensions.

Does anyone else find it odd that Ofcom replied to Nandy's comment to Lewis Goodall, with a post on X?

(Interestingly, Ofcom Chief Exec. Melanie Dawes is the wife of former Telegraph political editor Benedict Brogan).

Just Tom Swarbrick being praised by known racist/white supremacist for his increasingly racist shows.

It's sad when presenters have to veer towards racism (which is most of them now) because their natural personalities/talents aren't interesting enough to bring in box office numbers.

I wonder if @mrjamesob.bsky.social knows that Ben Obese-Jecty was the victim of an "N-Tower" started by former Reform UK MP and woman beater James McMurdock.

This was about 2 months ago.

I just tried to call @lbc.co.uk to argue that the idea that advertisers are inclusive because it makes money for them.

Because I didn't have the stats (below) immediately to hand, they wouldn't let me on.

It speaks volumes the production of Nick's show that these stats weren't sought beforehand.

Mildly disappointed that @lewisgoodall.com didn't push back against Gawain Towler's assault on "quotas" and the underlying assumption behind all white supremacist ideas that non-white males are not as "talented" as them.

In another life, Towler would be begging for roll-ups under a rail bridge.

See - you can work for the same company as someone and call them out by name.

Crazy that Dugmore has only been there for a couple of weeks and he's already sending headshots to big name 'colleagues'.

He's got a bright future this lad.

Toby Young's move (funded by ADF) to abolish "non-crime hate incidents" is about allowing people to say whatever they want on Zuck/Musk/Ellison's platforms without consequence.

The "free speech" culture war is ALL ABOUT the two laws in the image.

The EU law specifically.

Connect the dots.

Two huge Farage related stories in two of his biggest cheerleading rags. This is the second. I've just RT the other one.

He's upset a few people, hasn't he? No way Murdoch and Fashgraph both print these stories on the same day without good reason.
