It was with us...and we shared the experience of so many when we got married in Bangor Castle...as two former councillors recall, it is a spectacular venue..

Even fifty-odd years ago, councils in #NorthernIreland were recycling....this gavel pad is still used to day by the Mayor of Ards and North Down Borough Council.
The poultry medals from the #RDS had a use too...coming up in next episode of #LittleBangorStories podcast!

My local weekly paper, the Co.Down Spectator, pays tribute to #RoryMcIlroy with wraparound cover today. His hometown, #Holywood, is just up the road from #Bangor.
Love it.
